I have the privilege of working with Sus Schmitt, who has amazing instincts and information about online ministry.
Sus is my personal blog advisor and technology equipper. She makes me look like I know what I’m doing online (I don’t). She has created a great website called eQuipping for eMinistry: using technology for ministry. She provides help for blogs, social media, creative ministry, mailings, evangelism, new technology. You will love all she offers.
One of my constant issues is remembering my passwords–different sites have different requirements, and “they” say I shouldn’t use just one password. Here’s a great post for that problem: What You Need to Know About Passwords.
So click on over, get your passwords under control, and take a look around this remarkable site.
Thank you, Judy, for your kind words and for the shout-out for eQuipping for eMinistry! 😉
Technology doesn’t have to be overwhelming. I’d love to help as many as possible to enhance their ministries through technology.
I hope many take you up on it, Sus.
Sus, thanks for the help you have already been to me. I’m teaching online this year, and I look forward to establishing an even stronger online presence next year.
Anne Marie,
God’s given you some awesome possibilities. Can’t wait to see what He does in and through you!
I love to see sisters helping sisters!
Judy, Here’s a great way to have unique passwords that are also easy to remember: http://equipping4eministry.wordpress.com/2011/12/20/too-many-passwords/
Basically, use your favorite password for all sites and just add an identifier at the end, so favoritepasswordwp for wordpress, favoritepasswordfb for Facebook, favoritepasswordgM for gMail, favoritepasswordtwit for Twitter, and favoritepasswordtweet for TweetDeck.
Sus
Good idea, Sus.
Good ol’ internet… It’s not original to me. I get a lot of info from searches! 😉
